Bracket cracked on factory pressure piping (photos)

We noticed that our pressure piping going from the turbo to the intercooler was floppy and moving around the engine bay.

After looking at the piping we noticed that the support bracket for the piping had broken off!

So we went ahead and replaced the piping with the Injen pressure piping!

(Comparison of factory vs Injen piping)

Boom! No more floppy hoses, and our engine bay looks great now !

Mine is an 09 and i didn't have the new clip. Mine broke in the EXACT same spot as theirs did. I bought the CIA performance addition pipes and had my stocker replaced by the dealer and put away for safe keeping.

No, suprisingly we have a 2009!

It was pretty easy to install, took about 30 minutes. We used the stock clamps and hoses, however we've already had the pipe blow off on us once, so we replaced all the stock clamps and hoses with longer silicone hoses and t bolt clamps.

We're about to release a upgrade package for the injen piping that includes all new t bolt clamps and better longer silicone hoses so that no one else will have problems with their Injen piping blowing off, or leaking.

Ill send you a message in a minute with my estimate on shipping costs to Canada. Our website is actually designed so that we can give real time shipping quotes for Canadian customers on orders as well.

Drburns - we're making progress on it, slowly but surely!

UPDATE:
We have released a MPX Injen Pressure pipe upgrade kit to eliminate leaks, hoses blowing off, etc.

This kit makes is available to purchase seperately, or you can purchase it with the Injen Pressure piping at the same time.

Link:
http://www.modernperformance.com/upg...ng-p-2106.html

This kit is custom made by us and includes two new silicone couplers, and 6 T bolt clamps to eliminate any leaking and prevent any hoses from blowing off.

Pics :

Comparison between the silicone coupler we use and the factory Injen silicone coupler.

Piping attached with T bolt clamps onto the turbo outlet.

T bolt clamps are nearly 40% wider than regular worm gear clamps, making it impossible for leaks, and hoses blowing off.

Bottom outlet going to intercooler with T bolt clamps.
