the brackets are made of plastic... so i just see them breaking on a shift in general. it cracks one day when u shifted hard, then the next day or weeks later it finally breaks on a normal slow shift. thats just how i see it happening. the OP doesnt make sense to me. how could it break if u arent shifting? but regardless. point is they are plastic and will break if abused.
