wiki even says this
This or a similar engine is used in:

AND who even knows if the gearing is any good. Just because its a 6speed doesnt mean it is better. For mileage sure, but for going fast..it could be horrible.

After talking to 2 different GM reps at Chicago autoshow Yes the GS will have an LNF, they had one on display.AWD is not definate yet, and if AWD comes it will be later in the model run.

Funny you say that because the LNF has more horsepower than the GN.

I understand BUT I would take a grand national over a cobalt/any lnf any day...Grand nationals make serious numbers modded and atleast they have respect on the track and are rwd....(not intended to start a fight)

and the last GN the 1988 was 276hp...I know i had one

Umm...seriously? you need to work on your knowledge of legendary vehicles. The grand national was never touched by a v8 and has far faaarrrr more potential than any lnf powered car.

Stock for stock it cant.

A stock Grand National went 0-60 in "under 5secs"

A stock Grand National GNX went 0-60 in 4.7secs.

I love my SSTC, but GNs are much more bad ass cars and are VERY underrated by a lot of people. Like cakeatr said, these cars are legendary, and are the definition of late model American muscle....some of the last muscle made by Buick.

And on a side note, they werent even NA V8s....they were turbo'd 6s......

I guess I was a little late, youve already been scolded
