Only internals that we know of is the Wiseco pistons (which we can get if you PM us) and the ferrea valve train (valves, springs, seats, retainers)

No cams, or rods are out "shelf stock" yet.

I saw Dezod is offering pistons off the shelf for LNFs. Rods you could call up Crower and have them build a custom set for you for a decent price, I know of a few LSJ guys that have gone that route.

our motor is already built! you dont need rods nor cams..... the only thing you need it piston but the rest is forged... it can hold 500-600HP on the stock motor....

prove it... show me one making those numbers, you speak is if your words are facts...

the stock bottom end is only good to 400ish 450ish sleeves will go... check the Pontiac forums...

even at 400ish it could go at any point it decides... these are all crank figures not whp

alot of us with "built motors" are finding out that "500" is very rough estimate, might as well only build it once the right way.

Contact Ray Bates from Bates Engineering, he does mostly all the machine work for GMR and ECOTEC race team...

stock:
low-friction cast aluminum pistons
forged steel crankshaft
forged steel connecting rods

There could be some upgrades, but some may not exist yet.

You're better off waiting til they make the parts to upgrade our motor. Custom parts cost alot. With the fueling tables locked you cant even get enough power to blow up the stock motor as long as you're tuned right. And im not sure but i think most likely the cast pistons would go before the sleeves.

don't listen to anyone, do your own research. do not modify your engine unless you know what you're doing. this is a common mistake that costs people a lot of money. if you want your motor built for you, bring it to a machine shop and they'll know exactly what to do, or at least they should. if you do decide to do this good luck finding a trustworthy shop. I do everything myself so a. I learn something new every time and b. I know it's done right.

i am going to be perfectly honest here. there is zero point to building the motor right now without opening up the fuel system side of it. getting past this point will prove when things begin to give out.

ported head w/valve springs is a decent thing to try out, but the stock turbo doesn't flow enough air for the head to be the restriction on power out of the box.

i also understand that the fuel tables have not been unlocked yet. but what is simple pistons and rods, maybe valves seat ect.. none of that can really hurt anything. i dont plan on swapping the turbo untill everything about our fuel system is unlocked.

This is true and you can get rods custom made but its alot harder to make a custom made crankshaft. And if you check out zzp there making a 2.3l stroker. I just think it would suck to spend a hell of a lot of money only to leave the stock crank or spend a sh*t load on custom parts. Then have a vendor come out with a stroker kit. But if you want to do it go for it make sure you take alot of pictures and get alot of info because it will be great knowledge for many of us LNF guys
