Built Motor Parts?

What options do we have for building the short block?
Links to products would be nice too. Thanks!

(ie: Pistons, Rods, Cranks)

I think pretty much all we have right now are Weisco pistons and valve springs.

That's pretty much all i could find to.
I'm assuming an order of pistons doesn't come with new rings, right?

You can get rods custom made for not a ridiculous price. To get a custom crank it is a ridiculous price but you can take the stock crank and you can cryo harden it and knife edge it and there are some more things you can doto it. ARP can make custom main studs.

how are they getting past the fuel system as far as upgrades? Cause that would have to be done before you would need internals.

Internals weren't on my mind to make big power, but to hold power longer. Just that extra precaution i'd like to have.

So, wiseco pistons. . . . anyone at all know if there are rods out yet?

With it still being an 86x86 2ltr motor like the LSJ's, would rods meant for their cars work on the TC's?

considering i have not built an lnf yet i can't say for sure, but i don't see why they wouldn't...

same crank, and i can't see why the pistons would be any different on the underside.. so in theory i say it will work

jegs, summit, ottperformance.com, allecotec.com, I would do an over bore on the lsj to 2200cc and use parts for that motor since they are easier to find. plus the lsj is a better cast, only thing is the cams you gotta do something about the cps. just my .2 cents

just realized this is lnf my bad. I don't know **** about this block, but I still think an overbore would be wise.

are you saying the lsj is a better casted block? head? what? becaus ei would liek to disagree on that front.. the casting of the lnf block is stronger than the lsj, and with some head porting im sure the heads would flow more or less equally

overbore isn't that good of an idea unless you plan on sleeving the block, if you do check my for sale thread lol bates engineering sleeves going at a low price

you can get sleeves for 600 I believe. but that requires a deck mill and an extreme over bore. it will ruin the block but the sleeves will never fail. since we are open deck it only makes sense.
