i think these are 3 questions that others are wanting to know too. because right now if i had $400 to spend on a mod for my LNF..... i'm leaning towards meth injection.
The info is all there. The dyno chart shows that it was able to hold a little more boost. I stated that we saw about 1 lb/min increase in max airflow. The gains being worth the money are anyones opinion.

That's not really a big deal either way. Basic resale items are just that. Minimal investment, minimal margins.

Im not sure about it being stronger,i beat ryros car from a 40 roll,and a 60 roll,similar mods,im on methanol injection,running dubs tune...stock k04

Lol your on a 30 PSI spike and I wasnt no-lift shifting due to my clutchmasters clutch, you know if I would have no-lift shifted it would have been a very close race, even on less boost. im a running a 22 PSI tune ramped to 25 vs your 30 PSI

Here's the thing. I can tune my built lnf or a sock lnf on 35lbs but if I don't hit it all the time it'll last. (But point is its a turbo that spoils so qwuickly that even if it has a decent boost ramp . It will still make boost to quickly and cause the internals to heat.quickly due to a lot of lowend friction and pressure. So therefore weakening ringlands, and ect.
So there for it is stupid, dumb, just plain retarded to tune the ko4 for 30lbs... and if you have sti k maps you can't even read the boost if 30lbs unless its a manual gauge. Nor can your Tuner. So you can be 30+ ... So be smart..

You can have a good amount of lowend timing as long as you have a linear boost ramp. Not just a straight spike to whatever... So therefore if you didn't have a spike the way you did. I highly doubt you would have blown. Unless you went to stupid amounts for 93..

Ok, what's Ure mechanical read. Just 30... The only Tuner I know that does b.s 30 spikes is Matt. And I've refined a few cars due to the owner of car wanting a tune from me... They would send me logs. And they had gmstage1 sensors so I could read 30ish lbs and a few of those cars were 31-33ish lbs......

Thumbs up

I hope you know making a ko4 spike is easy as making love with a drunken chick thats passed out. No matter what he does its unreliable. Go beat on it non stop for 1-2 hrs vs a car tuned with a linear ramp and say 24lbs and more timing... See who lasts ... I'm glad you stick by your tuner. Thays a good thing, it means you trust him. But if you understand the concepts of tuning, engine reliability, health, and heat, friction and ect. youd be going back to matt and explaining to him that the spike in no way is safe. he may say this but its completely stupid to do. If anyone feels different, please feel free to push your car off a cliff since that's basically what your doing to your car.. (treating it like ****.) And honestly when you pop, please dont make a build thread, or a thread saying damn, pe anything. Because i will come in laughing.. [/B]

I have beaten it hard for 2+hours, I was driving the **** out of that car at TOTD last year, close to 50 track passes with that car,its held up for every minute of it. Drove it to north carolina for cobalt vs neon dyno day, trips to key west.
