cali. emissions on LNF

So my friend got approved for a HHR SS and it has cali emission equipment on it. He wants to know what is installed on the car, and if it reduces power or anything else. Any help would be appreciated

I think all lnf's are 50 state legal, the cali ones shouldn't have anything extra on there to meet emissions. Even the gm tunes are carb approved.
