Cali's sucky gas
if your smart with a leaded fuel, and use it ONLY when you realllyyyyyy need it. its fine.
a sensor can be "used" back to life, you just have to burn off the lead on its ceramic element.
however, on your car babe, i dont see much of a reason to use a leaded fuel as unleaded goes to 104/106 octane. 100 octane, like you were saying was close to you, being 9 points up on the **** you normally have, would be a HUGE change. if it wasent ~$8/gal id say run it ALLLLLL the time. it'll NEVER hurt anything.
on an LSJ, at 18psi, on 104 octant, i was peaked out as far as smart tuning (LMT/MBT just like we talked about)
your car and its higher boost level, yet more effective engine, should be on par with that.

no way. not only is torco outta business now, but additives tend to be little more then bottles of diluted toluene.
the car is miles away from having a fuel system that could push the needed volume for e-85.
while i'm not a fan of e-85, for a laundry list of reasons, its not bad stuff. its core benefits truly do lie in the simple fact of how much fuel mass you have to use. its cheap tho....

oh well.
C16 ftw rissa HA!
if you run C16 then you could say you have 2 white tail pipes...

Not doing meth, don't think my dealer would be too pleased with that, they already know about all of the other work done to the car and I don't want to make it harder for them lol. And west coast = no winter wheels or tires, I can always make my own higher octane gas lol.
Yeah I can't be bothered switching them, buying new tires and getting those put on once-twice a year is annoying enough. I'm at 1/4 of a tank now, gonna let it run to empty and then fill it with 100 and get a new tune, that with the new sensors it should feel like a whole new car.
didn't bryan say he was going to give you a new tune. something about making your car think you were getting 100, but you weren't. i think that was you and him, right?
and taking off 20(x2) lug nuts is much easier then mounting and balancing 4 new tires.

I dunno, I don't think my car would like to be tricked like that lol. I was going to get a new tune anyway with this new gas and now it'll really be on 100 for a while, and then it'll slowly go down in octane, and once it hits an equivelant to 93 I'll fill it back up again. Thankfully I don't drive it much!
Luckily there's a station with unleaded 100 really close to me, it's like $8 a gallon, but I only fill up twice a month, and would only have to fill it up completely with 100 like maybe once every 3 months. I'll have the only SS out here running "93" octane hahaha.
I'll get a new clutch eventually. Once the brakes are done and whatnot I'll start putting money aside for one. I'm not dipping in my vacation money for one ahhaha.

that seriously sucks. how are you pulling that one off, running on 93?
and im confused and curious to learn about it, you'd only put in 100 once in a while, you drive that little, or 100 gives you awesome gas milage?

Well I'll fill it up with 100, then when it gets down to half, fill it up with 91, and when it gets down to half again, fill the rest up with 91, so it continues to dillute it. Once it reaches a certain point, I'll fill it back up with 100 and start the process over again. My car will like this much much much better.
why don't you do every other fill up with 100? fill with 91, drive to 1/2, fill with 100, drive to half, fill with 91, drive to half, fill with 100 etc etc. or you could start with 100, 1/2 91, 100, 1/2 91 blah blah.
Or that, it doesn't really matter to me lol. The beauty of it is, if it gets annoying I could just switch back to the 91 tune and stop it, but I don't see that happening lol. When we tried the car with his 93 tune for the first time(even tho it knocked like hell) it felt soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome.
ewwwwwwwww
