Short shifter since it's one of the parts of the car you use the most on a daily basis!

You won't really notice anything fantastic with a short shifter.

DP makes a huge difference on these cars. But if you're going ZZP, you might as well get the Midlength H/DP combo. It made a HUGE difference. It breathed a lot more freely and had a ton more giddy-up on the top end. I pulled as hard in 3rd on the highway as I did in 2nd on regular roads.

I have both dp and shifter with weighted ball and bushings .Both are nice mods .If I were to make a choice I would go with the down pipe .It made a nice difference in the way the car performed (more power). The shifter makes a difference in how smooth and quickly the car shifts but again I would go with the power mod first.Hope this helps.

This is for an LNF not an LSJ.

To the op, get tuned or u wont notice any difference with a new dp.

Okay? Yeah, I knew that. I'm guessing you mean that there is no H/DP combo for the LNF. If that's the case, it still has nothing to do with reading ability.

Tune. Best money spent, most bang for the buck!

there is no header for the LNF because we have a turbo manifold so we can... you know... have a turbo ... DP is the way to go OP get ur power adders out of the way first

Agree thats what our cars get the most hp from, obviously

I would also get the ZZP catless dp though for roughly $250 shipped to your door you can't beat it

^Have to agree. DP + Tune are the best 2 things you can do, tune being more important IMO. You can make 300whp on totally stock parts, search and you will find quite a few have done it

See, now that was an explanation. I knew which car we were talking about, but as you can tell, I have an LSJ.

Anyway, my advice still stands. Opening up that first half of the exahust is key to making power. Back when BriantheLion26 and I went to the track we had the exact same setup EXCEPT the DP and he ran a rull 2-tenths faster in the quarter. We would be side by side for about the first 100 feet and then he'd start pulling like a train on the top end.

Awesome thanks for the advice guys i would get a tune except i would like to keep my warrenty also i live in a small town the nearest real tuner is probaly 8 hours away or more haha so if i were to get a tune it would be trifecta. i was looking at the gm stage 1 but i would have to keep saving some cash. the only reason why i can't decide is would a downpipe make a difference on stock tune? where as a shifter i can feel the difference right away not in power but in drivability and its my dd. both will be about the same price.
