car is back

alright i know some of you will remember me as the first guy to blow a turbo in a lnf. well i was also the first to blow 3rd gear on a lnf as well 2 months after i replaced my turbo. well she is back again just finished my test drive car is running strong and damn did it feel good after 3 months of it just sitting. i sure as hell hope this is the last time i pull something major out of my car in my garage haha......thanks for everyones support

yea i know hahn recomended i take mine off and i did. never got to run it. thats why i was asking i think it shaved like 11 pounds off or somthing like that

Its just a matter of time before it pops another one if your pushing it beyond 25 psi. At 25 PSI the turbo on the LNF is running at about 100% of rated turbine shaft RPM limit. Guys pushing them higher than that with some aftermarket tunes are way beyond the max RPM rating of the turbine wheels and shaft. Don't expect them to last long in many cases. Jus sayin.

im only running 21lbs spiking at the most 23lbs and the turbo blew because i peace of metal shot into it not because of it being pushed to the limits

a piece of metal from where? My bad I assumed you were running that tune thats spiking the turbo into the 28 LB range.
Just as an FYI the turbine is turning about 300,000 RPM ar 25 LBS. Thats the upper limit on the turbine shaft. beyond that is asking for trouble

His Hahn inake had a piece of metal that was not removed prior to being shipped out. It got sucked into the turbine and chewed it up really badly.

Thanks for explaining that haha you always beet me to explain the problems with my car....is it bad that its happend so many times hahaha.....if it aint breaking your not driving it hard enough right???
