Car stalled slowing to a stop??
Car stalled slowing to a stop??
This has been happened to me the past 2 days. It randomly stalled - once as I was slowing to traffic on the on-ramp, three times coming to a stop, and once as I was taking off from a stop? Just before this happened, I would get something like: "reduce power mode" on the DIC. I put her in N and refire each time without any issues. Embarrassingly to admit, this has all happened after I accidentally forget to put one plug back in the car the night before when I'd try to started it...
Any ideas?

running the defroster? I don't know how the lnf's act, but my old ss/sc used to try and stall out all the time when I was running the defroster or a/c. extra engine load from those components i suppose..never really thought about it lol
well mine worked great too lol It just always seemed to drain on the engine so when I'd push in the clutch to take it out of gear and come to a stop, the engine would stumble clear down to like 200 rpm and somehow save itself. It did stall a few times, but not enough to cause me any concern and certainly not as much as the OP's

Something I'd noticed is there were strong fuel in the oil when I did the oil change couple of days ago? As I was looking at my air filter today, appearingly the stock air box was not properly aligned/seated. Could this be the cause of my stalls? Now if I were coasting to a stop with a leak in the intake, which draw too much air past the MAF in turns, dumped excessive fuel into the engine? Thus the strong smell in my oil? Am I on the right track? I will find out in the next few days to prove if my theory is right or not. No cel thus far.
