They're also a good size to hold head bolts, whatever. I have a couple around the garage for specific purposes.

Do yourself a favor, get a repair manual for the car. It will detail those kinds of things for you. Believe me, you don't want to mess up the timing. A very small mistake can cause a ton of damage to your motor.

Congrats!!!

Seriously, when you finish, you are going to love it.

I blew my motor and rebuilt it, and did a custom turbo build all at once, and I LOVE IT!

Wouldn't that be all the more reason to invest in a wideband? Why cheap out in the monitoring on the engine's vitals with all of the money invested?

Either way the motor should be pretty nasty!

ok so i though to give an update on my thread....

motor is done... drives perfect! the only problem now is that i blew my turbo today... talked to Jason at Treadstone and the turbo kit should be ready to get installed in less than 2 weeks...

this is my plans for next year:

Valves
Valves Springs
Retainers
Port & polish head
Corrillo Rods (however you spell them )
tranny upgrade...(lets see what zzp comes out with or just build a G85 tranny)
SPEC stage 3+ or stage 4 clutch and flywheel
Meth kit

after all that well see how the car turns out.... keep in touch!!
