I must be A re-tard or something because i searched up and down left and right through every threads and all i found was either- "how does a catless dp sound" or how does a muffler delete sound? nothing about both together-

sscalicobalt- thanks for the input- i think i will do that!

The dp will make the car 10x louder when your getting on it so just see if you want it louder after driving with it a bit but honestly I love the fact the there is no drone when just cruising and it roars when you stomp on it.

Loud enough that as soon as me and my bud were done putting it on we went for a joyride to the local airport parking garage just to hear it echo/set car alarms off lol and we were both very impressed with how loud it got.

I have a catless DP with the stock catback, it's plenty loud for me. Any louder and I wouldn't hear the intake/turbo spool.

I agree, wait until you have the downpipe installed and see what you think. If you are still wanting to buy my old catless downpipe, I thought it was pretty loud even with the stock exhaust. I'm a bit older than most of you guys, so I guess that's subjective. But, if it's not loud enough, just uncap the cutout. I think maybe I have a video of my car with that downpipe and the cutout open. Remind me when I get home and I'll post a link.

Well crap, I can't find the right video. The only one I can find is this one at the dragstrip, but the Camaro I'm running sort of drowns it out. You get to hear it a little as I pull up to the starting line. It does sound mean with the cutout open.

Catless dp on stock exhaust sounds like a broken lawn mower. I love how catless with a muffler delete sounds. It is SUPER loud when warming up and when you really get on it. Cruising isn't so bad. I've had cops compliment how it sounds at idle lol.

I heard a tc with a catless dp with the stock exhaust...not a fan. If you're going to keep the muffler, at least get an aftermarket one. Lol I thought he was gonna write me up for aftermarket exhaust, but he just said it sounded nice and let me go hahaha.
