Haha um MMMAAAYYYBBBEEE. I don't really care about the cops too much. I'm going to register my car in Oregon at my family's farm when I get closer to needing to smog my car.

Here's a video of mine from back when I had that setup. It sounds amazing...the only time it sucks is on a cold start...that $hit is LOUD!

Have your tuner turn off the cat warmup cycle. It won't be loud on startup... It will just take longer to warm up.

I used to tune myself with HPTuners. I have since sold HPT and all my parts. But if I still had that stuff trust me I would turn that off..I used to have a lot of angry neighbors at 430 in the morning

Catless with a borla muffler swap... sounds soooo much better than my catless /stock muffler setup. Cant wait to get my car out in the spring..

the only way tey will work, is if you swap in late model Grand Am hub, just like GM Performance Division did on their Cobalt race cars circa '05...
but this doesn't take into account if the rims would clear the Brembo calipers... on your newly modified rotors (drilled for the new hubs).

I can assure you, the Cobalt & Neon have different bolt patterns.

If you had a 2004 Cavalier, then I'd say you could do the swap...

just do it. what i did was cut the muffler with an 1.5inch hanging off the back so incase i didnt like it i can just put a band clamp and have it back the way it was... but i LOVE it. its pretty mellow till you hit 5psi and depends on the throttle position. i say do it, you wont regret it
