CEL after stall

Okay, so today I had to go take my brother's 09 Challenger SRT-8 out to get it out and moving while he's in Iraq. It is in a small storage unit, so I pulled it out, and then went to pull my car in so it wasnt sitting around while I was gone.

The entrance to the unit had a huge lip, so I had to go over it really slow so I didnt bottom out. I ended up stalling once trying to get over the lip. When I started her back up the CEL was on and the DIC read Engine Power Reduced.

I finished the cruise in the Challenger (which was great, Im glad he got the 6spd ), and then got back to my car. After sitting the power reduced message was gone, but the CEL was still on. I drove off and it seemed to be running fine and making full boost.

Im a Paramedic, but I used to be a mechanic, and still do it part time. I went up to the shop I work at and hooked up the Tech2. After hooking up the Tech2 the light went out on its own without me clearing it. I looked in the history and got a P0091- Fuel Pressure Regulator Solenoid 1 control circuit low voltage.

Any Ideas? Im not too familiar with DI. Im guessing its not a real problem seeing everything is running fine and the light went out on its own. My main concern is I got my car back about a week ago from the dealer fixing an oil leak "in the area of the high pressure fuel pump," and I believe the pump was removed. Im just worried they f'ed something up with the fuel circuit while they were in there, but like I said everything seems to be running fine.

The secondary fuel pump, near the camshaft. There is a sensor attached to it. This code popped on me, and all I did was retape the wiring, and pull it off the bracket. I think the heat caused it to trip the cell. Once I retaped it, it was fine.

Unplug the connector on the high pressure fuel pump and plug it back in make sure it clicks in place. Maybe it was not firmly seated and if so the bump then stall could have loosened it up.

thanks for the input

I checked the connector and it was on tight. However, this is what I found. I followed the yellow and purple wires coming from the connector, and right about where they merge with the rest of the harness (below the pump) the casing to the yellow wire is worn away exposing the wire. It looks like when they put it back together it got pinched against the metal bracket in front of the fuel pump.

Yep...the heat from the actual bracket caused the wire to be exposed. Then it contacted the metal. If you retape it it will be fine. Youll have to pull the wire protector off, of the sensor wire and the cluster of wires it attaches to as well. You can tell if its fixed because your car will start ticking again.
