CIA Boost Tubing
i just installed the CIA Boost tubing which is great by the way but a very long and tiring job trying to install it. Anyways as i was trying to put the MAP sensor in the boost tube that goes from the throttle body to the passenger side of the intercooler, the plastic guard thats around the colored piece in the center broke off so hopefully it will still work. I think thats a map sensor anyways correct me if im wrong but. Im guessing if there anything wrong with that sensor it will just throw a code.

yeah, it will throw a code, that MAP sensor is responsible for boost level control. I snapped the vacuum hose off of mine right before the MAP sensor (which controls voltage for the MAP sensor to work properly) and now I can't go max boost without my car taking a huge boost **** all over the road. I ran a Altima coupe 2.5 S the other day and could only pace him, (I was ahead but still thats bs.)

well once my misfire is fixed at the dealer tomarrow ill give it a quick test on the highway and see if my boost levels have changed for the worse. If it is bad which it didt apear to be since the actual sensor in the center appeared to be unharmed, how much would a new one cost?
