Clear Image Automotive dyno testing, flow bench testing and more...

Yes. I will explain it the best i can here. They send you something called a GT tuner. You tune the file onto you ECU. Then you data log it which means you just run off the numbers on your computer such as A/F ration, Spark, and what not. Then you send this data log to Vince and he fine tunes it when sends you an update tune. So yes he optimizes your mods. Very cool
I do not have this tune yet but understand how it works. IF you have any more questions feel free to ask.

oh yes. Just tell Vince you want a certain amount of boost. He can customize the tune to do whatever you want it to do
For instance some people have suggested to keep the torque around 330 to keep the clutch from slipping

Thats awesome...Mmmm 25psi. i was snooping around clear images website and couldn't find the tune for the ss/tc so not able to order quiet yet i take it. Next question is to log the data and send it back is it just idling data cause driving data wont be all that great seen as its winter and -15F with about 2 feet of snow.

yes idle i do believe and yes you can order it now. Just put any model of cobalt then in the comment box before you order put ss/tc and the year of your car. Trust me you can order it. I did but then had to cancel it because i realized I ran out of money lol. THey were ready to send it to me and everything. So yes you can order it

I dunno quite what you mean. If you mean does it set of a CEL then no. And 25psi might be pushing it. I know he can do 23-24 psi but that's damn close. I've heard over 23-24 psi isn't possible without the gm stage kit to update the sensors
Hey Taylor i think i need to get a sponsership for all this lol j/k

so ur not to sure what the dyno illistrated above was running for psi cause if i can hit 300hp+ easy and 330tq+ easy i would be satified if it was only running the psi needed to reach that if it was only 20 or 23 haha

Ok guys i have the tune and i am running 21.75 as seen on that dyno sheet, anything over 22 psi can cause serious damage to the trubo, it will begin to surge, at 23psi i belive the wastegate opens because the spring can no longer hold the pressure, when i boost i hit 24-25psi spike then settles smoothe to 21 psi. Vince will not be going over 21 psi for the reason of clutch slipping, we tried 23Psi on mine and sure enough the clutch slipped in 4th and 3rd around 3500rpm!!!

ahah i was about to say i believe it was around 22 psi. lol beat me to it
i got some info from that guy who has the screen name copson or whatever. He lives like 10 miles away from me
and he uses this GT tuner and tunes for Vince

First of all, I have to say great work Dan!
Yes get a new clutch but you shouldn't need to worry about it as much. My stock clutch still has NOT slipped with the GT3076R upgrade.

Not sure yet but I'm running 40lb/min, technically close to a number around 400. Not sure when I'll be getting on the dyno.
it tends to slip when the tune seem to hit its peak TQ around the 3-4K RPM mark, past that it doesn't seem to

Yeah that was the same range mine was slipping, i hit 3500 rpm and you could hear it, dyno showed the same thing. I think Dan could be able to show where it was slipping he has all the dyno runs.
