Clear Image Charge Piping!

Hey guys i just got done at Clear Image Auto. Got all the charge piping bent and everything is set and ready to go, all mandrel bent piping NO WELDS AT ALL. Only a 3 piece set and routed complety different then the other guys, shaved 10 inches off the complete length. The kit is going to be offered in many different finishes(im getting the heat reduction powder coating finish). Here are the pics that i got, if you have any questions you can ask me or Clear Image Auto. Great guys and great work, very much worth looking into!!!

I just wanted to say "Thank You" to Cobalt SS/TC, and his lovely girlfriend, for driving up here today and letting us use his car for the development of this charge pipe kit. It took a little longer than we expected but the results are worth it. I'll be figuring up the prices later this weekend and post a sale in the vendors area. We will also let you all know the different finishes, coatings and materials the kit will be available in.

Thanks again.

There has to be a certain amount of clearance from the hood to anything under. It is a safety requirement for pedestrians or w/e but it is stupid. I will deff be changing my piping.

There is plenty of clearance under the hood. We actually test fitted 3" to make sure.

haha, sorry for thread jack

piping looks awesome though!!! first time i saw the tc it looked that that would be the weak point...looked constricted and like the flow would be bad

Our kit actually sits at or below the factory piping.
First thing that I saw was a way that just jumped out at me. extremely clean and easy install!

Glad you guys like it, trust me will be well worth getting they do an amazing job up there. OHHHH also there is a tune in the works. We worked on this at the same time. It is installed in my car, i just drove 2 and a half hours back to my house no problems, and let me tell ya this things gets it on. I can give you guys a little bit of details the boost pressure was set to 21.6psi, i thought this would be a good number since GM states the turbo looses most of its power after this, also the only way i would get an aftermarket tune was if it would not damage anything and there is no clutch slip what so ever! So you are probably wondering about the dyno results, well i will be back up at Clear Image Auto this Saturday and we will be putting it on the dyno that is without the charge piping on it, also if you guys want to add any comments about what you would like to see in a tune plz post it here!!!!

Ohhh didn't want to start a thread about the tune yet cause i know without dyno numbers you guys would kill me!!

Not a fan ... I dont like how the piping is routed, it gets in the way of the engine. Check out how hanh's is routed, it's much more clean imo

Yeah it is different choice, not sure about how all this air flows but we cut 10 inches from the stock piping with as little bends as possible and the top piece is one not two with a coupler. ALSO saves you money for the same bang
