Clunk Noise in steering column when going
anyone notice a clunk noise in steering column when going over uneven concrete, it sounds like the noise is being transmitted to the plastic steering column cover. is it just front end noise traveling up the column? is my front end loose?
also, anyone get a low coolant warning? just got one, strange, coolant level is suddenly down a bit

get used to the clunking if you're out of warranty. if youre not do some research into the NHTSA's cases regarding the LIST of **** thats wrong with our cars that may not be full fledged recalls by GM.
i've got it too. just dont have the time to leave my car at the dealer to replace the whole steering column. its a defect in the design iirc. i dont think there are any formal TSB's out for the steering column.
as for the low coolant i have no idea. my coolant is a bit high. it may be the fact that jersey has had some weird ass weather as of recently, hot then cold, then colder.
add a little bit to the reservoir when its cold and see if it leaks. fill it up to that rib on the tank and use that as your measurement.
