I'm just gonna drive it until I can get a new one and see what happens.
If you shift at 3000 rpm your clutch will last longer. There was a writeup on this awhile back.

Make sure you break the new one in for 500 miles of normal driving and throw an upgraded LNF slave and new pipe in while your at it.

i shift @ 3k in town and usually end up in 4th most of the time, and i cant get better than 17mpg. So i am gonna start keeping the revs up higher and then shift and see if keeping it in boost gets better gas mileage, but i doubt it.

as far as punching it in 5th @ 2k, why the hell would you wanna do that?

oh well, get a zzp or gmpp clutch and break it in properly and you should be good.

BTW, isnt our stock clutch only good for 320wtq?

Since its started this its probably best that I don't beat on it until I get a clutch or just keep riding it as always and not give it alot of fuel in high gear. I don't want to be afraid to run it hard.
how did no body flame this? change your fluid to help your clutch? maybe if it was not disengaging... but for slipping? what has this forum come to..... i cant believe that css.net is giving out bad info again
