How is that faster then your Balt?? What was done to your balt??? (on iPhone and CSS mobile doesn't show signature if you have one) I put a couple cars on 5.0s all the time in Woodward..

 

As of right now just a vararam (intake) and longtubes. Just got my cam in the mail yesterday. I was just kidding about track times lol

 

Well the times alone prooves that it's faster lol. I got a 2.1 60ft w the mustang and a 2.2 w the cobalt so even w the same 60ft the mustang is faster lol and I had intake, catless dp, upper charge pipe and 24psi tune. It made 320whp 368wtq on a dyno jet. I also race my buddy who has a stock 5.0 when I had the cobalt and it was pretty even to 100-110 but then from there too 130 he put 2-3 cars on me.

 

Lol I'm gonna find one tonight at the Woodward dream cruise and make a video... Maybe the dude didnt know how to drive

 

Ugh All these new 5.0 owners are giving me the itch to buy one ...
I get ford X plan and only owe 7g on the cobalt. It's sooooo hard to not jump on it. I'm sure I'll change my mind when winter hits here in Chicago. But I'm already looking for a beater to ride.

Nice looking car OP. Any issues with the new 5.0s? I haven't heard much about them.
Most people just bolting and spraying them? How do they hold up after being mOdded?

5.0 is absolutely bad-ass, I can agree. As far as from a dig, I have no fear in trying it out since it was my intention in the first place and it wouldn't be on the street either - track only champ. Either street tire to street tire or DR to DR.

 

Might I point out I was addressing "Cobe" above me whom posted about the oh-so-many he has beaten on Woodward .

Looking at a black on black interior 6MT 5.0 with the track package myself. Used, 10k miles, 28k...I think the dealer doesn't know the track pack is a $1500 markup.

 

Good deal man. Pick it up! I don't regret getting this at all. I've had a few trans ams (02 ws6, 96 trans am, 97 formula) all 6 speeds and this is by far my favorite car. Mine is a 2011 gt 6mt premium with 15k miles for $24k.
