Competitive mode and throttle response

I feel like the throttle response is a little quicker/sharper with the competitive mode on.. is it just me being more heavy-footed while in competitive mode or it actually changes the throttle response?

I dont think it should. it just gives you more slack on screetching and spinning tires with ECS on

"competition" mode that is designed for closed-course performance driving and adjusts chassis controls (including turning off traction control) in controlled driving conditions. A launch control function is part of the competition mode and enables consistent acceleration performance.
