Couple New Mods.

First is the lsj brakes ground down a bit to fit the 15's. Then I put in a triple pillar gauge pod and have the interceptor, cobalt boost gauge, and the stock gauge is just filling up one of the holes. Then I took off the side exit exhaust and put a 18in dynomax race muffler in there. The exhaust sounds badass now. Not to loud and doesnt pop and crack like the straight pipe.

makes sense.
makes sense.
interesting way of doing it.
how hard was the swap?

i'm guessing you still haven't taken her for a spin wtih the lsj breaks but how much of a difference is it?

also was there no way to just use 17s and put dr's on that, instead of swapping calipers?
i haven't looked into this at all so i'm just curious.

Yea haven't drove it like this yet. Am going to paint the calipers first. I have a set of 17's already but you are not going to get 11's on them on stock turbo since they are 26 inches tall.

wow... that's all I can say.. so you totally defeated the purpose of having a the brembos and is turning a specifially designed car for autox and road racing and turned it into a drag car... congrats! why not buy a car from the beginning that is meant to go in a straight line? and ppl wonder why they have issues with their cars lol..

that sucks. i wanted to get some drs, but i'm def not willing to do a swap.
i like the breaks a lot, and it being my dd i don't want to always swap them.
how tall are the ones you are going to use on the 15s?

makes perfect sense what he's doing..

if he uses the lsj calipers, that allows his to run a 15" wheel. A 15" wheel with a 26" slick allows for 2" more of wall wrinkle, which doesn't sound like much, but it equates to quite a bit more traction as compared to running a 17" wheel..

good stuff man.. sucks you will hae to wait so long to get on the track though

Dont like it, get out. Also to let you know it is a 3 foot better stopping distance with the brembos, thats it. Put a better set of pads in there and now I stop better. I am not into the twistie thing either.

harsh much?
its his car, no need to knock him for being into drag racing.
if he's able to do a break swap, i'm sure he's able to fix the car if it has an issue

yea you know how internet is.
can't really tell without any icons or something
its funny though cause i know guys dying to get their hands on these breaks just cause they say brembo.
but all in all its an interesting way of prepping the car to drag it.
in the future i may look into doing something like this.
a nice grinder and some patience and i'd be set.
nice to talk to you though!

So Aaron at Realtune is doing LNF tune as well? Tell me more about your Realtune high boost kit? He did a tune for me back when I had my SRT-4.

I've got the same M&H slicks for my car, and they hook well!

I expect to see some good times from you with them.

Not sure who is going to be tuning. The high boost kit works very well on this car. Roll into boost then hit a set rpm and the boost jumps back up and it's like you hit another gear but you didn't yet.

Nice to see progress miller! Couple questions though... did you use the LSJ rotors too? And is the caliper bracket needed to bolt up? I haven't had a chance to take a look at my car thanks to the weather. I have the calipers setting around, just need to get the time to take a look at it. And I need my wheels. What wheels are those too?
