CSS Members that have experienced a boost leak chime in!

Hey guys, I have been having nothing but problems with my 08/TC. I swear this car spends more time in a garage than on the road, and it is supposed to be my daily driver. Last night I was trying to exit the highway and proceeded to shift into 4th gear and gave it a little gas. It wouldnt boost past 10psi in both the stock tune and the Trifecta tune.. I am going to take off the bumper today to see if I can see any cracks on my intercooler or the stock charge pipes. My question to you guys who have experienced a boost leak is that while you were leaking, would you hold boost to a certain PSI like around 10psi or so? My understanding was that if you had a boost leak, you would not boost at all even though you can hear the turbo spooling. Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

30 000 kms on my 09, not a squeak or rattle. Although my pins needed lubing in the rear brakes and had them replaced under warranty.

Hey Cmiller, I saw some pics of your big turbo kit. Where are you located near in OH? anywhere near 90 or 271?? when you guys experience a boost leak, did it hold boost up to a certain psi? Or would it just all leak out in between vac and boost at 0?

When I had a boost leak it didnt boost any PSI lol, but some signs of a boost leak is a rough idle and a high pitched whinning noise under boost. Sounds like you have a small one if anything, check your IC end takes and the cold side charge pipe, there is a TSB on a sub frame bolt rubbing through the cold side pipe.
