P0299 is an underboost code. What did you do to the stock bov? Did you add a delete plate?

mmmm..... now that you mention it, no stock BOV still in place. Could I be leaking boost out of the stock BOV? in that case could connecting both at the same time would work until I get to do a stock BOV delete?

If you just unhooked the vacuum line to the stock bov then its opening under boost and leaking. If you connect both then you should be fine until you get a delete plate, just remember to leave the spring/diaphragm inside since its what actually seals the passages.
Although i wonder if you'll have enough vacuum to open both bov's, it would be best to connect the bov directly to the intake manifold and bypass that solenoid its connected to.

Wrong because the Injen goes over the valvecover

Will do, I will finish the cold side this week along with the downpipe. I will post picture of those as I finish them.

Looks like Injen without the badge. Good job on wasting money!
Note the following:

1. Injen uses 3 90 degrees bends, mine uses only 2
2. My home made kit includes a sequential BOV valve that sounds amazing btw (will post video when I get my hands on a video camera with decent sound)
3. Like BartSS just said previously, mine does not go over the valve cover, witch I think in my humble opinion that the valve cover would transfer unwanted heat to the pipe.
4. I use Tbot Clamps
5.I make sure that every time I open my hood, people will see something that have not seen before witch appeals to me a lot

know that my hot side cost me 280USD but this includes the BOV that Injen does not have. the lowest cost I found for Injen was 210USD + shipping witch takes the kit to 250USD. Would you pay 30 bucks for a Sequential BOV installed already in your hot side kit? I know I would!!

I ended up taking off my Injen pipes, didnt like the way they went right over the motor like that and seemed like they got way hotter then the plastic themsleves.

so when you do the cold side, you are going to relocate the MAF and tune for the change? Otherwise that blow off valve is going to cause you trouble, you will be venting metered air...

the code might be caused by low boost
maybe because of the HKS bov...just throwing it out there

That pipe has more bends and more severe than the injen lol and the heat is worse at the back of the engine than the valve cover. Most of the heat is from the boost anyway. I really like the injen hotpipe it's there cai that had issues. The heat disappears when you run a better flowing intercooler also.
