Not sure if that is normal, I wouldn't think it would boost that low. I would expect it to boost less, but not that low. Pics please!

ok if it doesn't fit on well then you will be sucking in unmetered air into the intake stream causing this issue it needs to be sealed

dejon came with that idea to make SRI/CAI for the cars and then like a week later here comes the intakes...id say its the same as a crappy spectre kit and the maf is not in the right place and soon you will have air codes and your car will be running leaner than a steak at outback..i just don't have much faith in the work they put into making that intake because they pushed it out too fast like their main goal was to make money, but again its only my opinion so who cares.

Ya know.... Dejon has been and is JUST as good a company as Hahn. Dejon has been in the DSM world for years! And I have personally seen their charge piping which is TOP NOTCH!

I swear the brand name nutswingers are rediculous! I'm not knocking Hahn they make some nice **** too, but just because their intake is $400 and Dejons is $200 doesnt make it crap!

If you want to pay double for a name then be my guest, I however don't feel the same way!

Guys,

I posted this same problem about 2 weeks ago. I called Pychosteve and he confirmed that it was that VAC line. I'm actually sending my intake back to dejon to get my flange welded on and repowdered coated because of this problem. Call Dave up and ask him to see what he can do for you. That's what I did.

Well as you know things with trial and error... Dejon dave has atleast taken it upon himself to know his error and fixed it.

Oh, I'm sure it was. I am sure Hahn got it right the very first time... I think not! This issue has since been fixed! So I'll take my 200 dollar intake over your 400 dollar one any day!

I think it is funny when people STRESS like a ************

Swear on all things HOLY that if an intake is in the engine bay, you will lose 238947892374892398272894372983479827394823 whp

A lot of people do not understand that the major gain from an intake IS NOT FROM DRAWING IN COOLER AIR...it is using a larger element, allowing more air to be filtered and sucked in.

ok just for the people that are so high on the dejon intake here is a story for you that is true. I have the dejon intake. The vent hose does not fit right. I have catless dp, hahn cat-back, dejon intercooler piping, and trifecta tune and I only put down 287 whp and 324 wtq on a dynojet. The cause is the intake. The MAF sensor is too close and the vent hose is messing with the A/F ratios. I should be around 320whp and 340wtq. The dejon intake is not that well designed and causes problems. Clear Image is currently working on an intake that works with my tune and will not cause the loss of boost like some aftermarket intakes are doing. Oh and if you need more proof then here is my dyno sheets.

Look at how inconsistent the A/F ratios are. They are extremely different on each pull.
