I've had my BOV on my 08 SS for going on 9 months. Up til now when the BOV was blowing off it was a nice one discharge psshhhhh sound. Now as of late it gives me a flutter noise. I no what compressor surge is and i have a bit of it on my car (agressive boost map with K04+) so i know its not that. In 9 months could the valve have wore down a bit? is this an issue? Currently my boost gauge shows me that its working fine but could it be on its way out? Thanks

 

it could be possible wear or maybe a boost leak. ive never liked the synapse bov.
