I've logged about 5k miles on this with no issues.

Still boost about 16psi but I'm not tuned either.

Has the bad fit (Terminator2 experienced) with this intercooler been resolved in the current run? Does it fit CIA's charge pipe or other aftermarket pipes?

That is suprising considering they had no real interest in trying to fix mine for me. If you want you can buy that same IC core for $80 on Ebay and get brackets welded on and some 2.5" 90* silicone elbows all for just over $100. I would never buy anything from them ever after what I went through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
They never even returned my $30 for shipping

What kinda of luck have other people had with this intercooler(crazysteve ic)? I have a friend with a HHR SS and he just loves it and has had no issues since the last time I talked to him.

My intercooler would be great for a stock or lightly modified car...

For my car however, I need a larger intercooler my IAT2's are now climbing out of where I would want them to be now that the temperature has increased!

So... I will have my 27" x 6"x 3.5" with custom welded 2.5" 90* elbows for sale here shortly!

Yes, I spent a lot of time on the phone with Steve and their fabricator Nick who was completly unwilling to admit (even after seeing pictures of it not fitting on my car) that it was shotty fabrication not my CPs fault. They just played pass the buck and did not want to make it right in the end. Never order from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How high are your IAT2s getting. This intercooler is massive. I can't imagine it would ever run out of cooling capacity.

He does not have the same IC as you it is smaller. IIRC the Core is 19" wide 6" tall and 3.5 thick. My Synapse is 24 X 8 X 3.5 and MY IATs are never more than 10* above ambient even after repeated pulls.

Stocker is 27" X 6" X 3" tube and fin core (486 cu in) Syanpse's is 24 X 8 X 3.5 Bar and plate (672 cu in) 19 X 6 X 3.5 is 399 cu in so a tad smaller in volume and definatly a lot shorter length over stock.
