Keep the LNF. 600 a month is a lot for a mustang and you can make good power on your LNF. who cares if you are 32 with a cobalt, there are 60 year olds with Cobalts. A car is a car and someone will always hate on it
My girl bought me some yyz springs

Aaron you better keep the balt. All this suspense with your turbo choice is an adventure in its own. Finish the fight and seal the deal

Well yeah he needs to sell the Balt private party as he will get about 4K more than trade in for it that way unless he owes more than 13500 on it then he should keep it for now until it is payed down more.

lol, true...thanks for the advice guys. I guess i just needed some other opinions to help me out on this one.
btw, i owe 12k on my car and it needs a new clutch, valve springs and hpfp right now, so i am ordering that stuff as soon as I can this week before i decide on the turbo setup, but wanna do the turbo and clutch at the same time to help on the labor.

Back on topic now...hahaha

its not really a crap turbo. its just not as good as some of the other competitors. but for that price it might be worth the buy.

The S-20G is not a bad turbo just a little old tech so it spools a bit later than some others but will have good topend. They can flow pretty well on the topend but full spool is likely going to be around 4200-4500 RPMs.

oh man, i would love twincharged...lol
Hell, a s256et spools faster than 42-4500 and would blow the doors off the s20g...

im sure the max power would be decent on the s20g...400+whp @ 26-28psi, but the torque is probably much lower...

Not sure but if you can acquire one cheap and have a mani made for it you will have as much power as you can possibly handle. IIRC the compressor map for that turbo shows a flow of around 65 lbs/min which is enough to support up to 650 whp on proper fuel.

There was one guy who did bolt up a gtx3076 to his 2.2 IIRC. he was selling his car not too long ago. that would be a ton of power for the cobalt

ehh... around there.

my boy has 650whp on race gas on his mr2. his motor is FULLY built. he builds racecars, has an all motor 800 horse power bmw m5, with the s62

another friend has 450whp in his genesis on pump gas. stock internals.

i hope to be at 400+whp at 20psi.

i should be close to it. 380+ is what i am thinking.

and yes kevin. i saw that thread as well

the mr2 is at 36psi
and the genesis is at 30psi.
