The issue is a cheap part that continues to fail, either stuck open or closed.
Also, it's not a bandaid if you are properly tuned for it as the car will rely solely on STFT (factory WB and internal fueling corrections are extremely quick) which will allow for an overall improvement in driveability and overall performance.
However, not everyone can do this and I completely understand not wanting to go through the hassle. Again, sorry for the smart assed response.
Sorry, was just being simple minded.

Yeah. If I still had hpt I could tune it out...But it was a lot to f with, so I guess I'll keep buying parts. As you see I've had it since new 2009 w/ only 35k miles on it as of today...the new evap should last a few years
Out of those three parts, is it one, two or all that break?
ah good. That evap f'er and the new rear brakes are arriving tomorrow.... finally get this pos fixed so I don't feel like I'm driving a hoopty
I just replaced my evap cuz I thought it was the stocker at 95k idk but it seemed find couldn't blow threw . BTW I got my evap for $0.00 on amazon idk how some coupon mabe for the delay on my k&n clean kit but hey I didn't complain lol
