Angry Does this sound like a blown trans?

Well yesterday rolling down the express way around 60mph i put my car in third and when i gave it gas it instantly revved to redline. I put it in fourth then fifth with the same result. But upon slowing down i couldn't put it into any gear i would barely touch the gas and it would instantly redline. Do you guys think it sounds like a clutch or trans or what.. less than 2 month ago i had a stage 4+ southbend and fidenza flywheel installed. The car will go into everygear when it's not running but I'm locked out of every gear when it is idling.. Please help!

You may have broken an axle. Check those first.

When u replaced the clutch did u replace the tob? Check ur clutch fluid. How does clutch feel to press? Should have stuck with a stock flywheel.

Also check shifter cables. It's not likely every gear in ur trans would be unable to engage, I'm thinking whoever did ur clutch didn't do it right or something else along those lines.

Sounds like a bad tob since you can go into gear with it off but cant with it running.

Thanks for the help guys. I didn't replace the tob because zzp insisted it wasn't needed unless it looked damaged.. It was installed by certified mechanics i will know more today when i get the trans out. I'm thinking either something with the clutch, tob or broken input shaft.

The welds on the plate broke and let the springs gut the clutch. The tob, flywheel and input shaft managed to survive i guess i just got a diffective one.

Unfortunately quality control usually doesn't check every part. Sounds like welds that didn't penetrate properly on that plate. I got the same clutch with zfr turbo and have had no issues. And I understand zzps logic, if it ain't broke don't replace it, but removing tranny is long and expensive, why not replace an 80 dollar part while it's off with a new clutch rather than risking it fail or wear out on the new clutch and have to pay again to have it done. It's common sense. We don't all have a shop and can do it on company time for free like zzp guys can

Since it will go into every gear when off but not when running it's got to be clutch related.
