Owned it since the day it hit the dlr in July 2008.. went to the track a handful of times but now avoid the track... I was also getting 25 mpg in the city while in town for 30 days...I use my car for interstate work 70% of the time here in the west so I think the high miles I put on it weekly may have alot to do with the ball links getting worn way prematurely.

I've constantly heard of things, mainly little things, but important things, that constantly break on the new ss/tc. Sounds like gm cut some corners with the new cobalt ss in order to keep the cost so low. I dunno. But I haven't had but 1 problem with my car and I got it fixed already. My linkage roll pin would break, I put a grade 8 aircraft bolt there and I haven't had a problem since.

Im curious, how many ZR1s did they sell? The biggest dealer around here was allocated 25 - all but 1 was pre sold before they ever started arriving (at way over list price, no less). Only the biggest dealers in the US even got allocated some, most got no more than 1. (Hendrick Chevrolet, anyone that watches Nascar probably recognizes the name)
