Ok i know alot of people have the synapse catless downpipe and i was just wondering if there are a lot of people with them that run emission testing, because unfortunetly I live in an area where you have to get tested for emissions i believe every 2 or 3 years. First off will they automatically fail you for this? or can it still pass? ANd if it will fail then is it easy to switch back to the stock downpipe to pass emissions?

 

prob will have to swap back the catted stocker or they will fail you, for any sniffer test or visual test.

It is not hard to swap out...but no there is no legal way to be catless on a newer car.
