The dash pod, did u have to redo the whole dash. I'd love one of those if it was easy to do. I gotta try to figure out something for my dashdaq so it doesn't have to be in the wondow

Damn I want one of these but it's hard to spend $150 when I already have the ZZP tripple pod.

the whole dash was completely redone and has about 40 hours of work into it.... between making the individual pods, hoods, and molding all that as one piece first...then molding it to the dash... i had to make the entire dash smooth and start from a clean slate...then i re made the texture and painted it the oem color. was not easy

i can do any sort of gauge pod.. i have some new ideas in mind just havent build them yet

i think my problem is there isnt much room to put anything anywhere without alot of work. if u could pull the vents out by the center there, but noo, they are built into the dash grrr

they are not.... ive had them out a million times. i can take a pic to prove it. my black cars totaled and i removed the dash from the car. so i have it sitting here with no vents. all the vents are removeable. i can build stuff there too but then you want have any use of them and you will have to block off the vents themselves...

In for pix of this myself, different purpose though. I kinda knocked my vent fins around a bit and they don't sit right in there anymore.

well if you decide you want to do something i can do it for you. i have a spare dash i can play around with stuff on. however i would need your dash daq to make something accurate. its entirely up to you.

but yes really they come out BUT you need to remvoe the entire dash to get them out.

i checked with my dashdaq, ud have to cut the part of the vents thats molded to the dash out. but it would be sick. idk if i wanna ship u my dash daq though, i could give u all dimentions and where all the ports on it are though. would have to be removable due to there being a sd card slot on the side of the dash daq

yeah thats the unforunate part. i wont do that kind of stuff without the part here.

its nothing against you and i understand you not wanting to ship it and you being worried about getting scammed but my reputation and quality rests on the things i build and im not going to build something and run the risk of it not fitting.

oh i dont care. i 100% stand behind my work and peoples products. in a case like this it would never be turned on and it would never be functioned so if anything electornically went wrong i wouldnt not cover it. however if anything went wrong cosmetically it would be taken care of. i usually wrap peoples stuff when fitting so things like that dont happen. i dont want to be buying expensive things that i dont have to. when i build pods for people with aem gauges i ALWAYS have them send the gauges because they never fit.

hope u angle those duel pods on the bezel a bit omi, idk where I got mine, but the one closest to the window is a pita when its sunny, u cant see it due to reflection, or the sun reflects into ur eye off the gauge lol , that doesn't happen often but sometimes when sun is in just the right position.

im gonna be attempting to remove my middle vents and making a single or dual pod that will screw in where the vents do. have u attempted anything like that? not something u have to mold into the dash itself but something that is removable and mounts like the vents do? I don't know how vents mount I will check tomorrow to see what I can do. but if u already have something id be interested.
