E3 spark plugs
They are pregapped and cannot be changed. It was a missfire on only one plug. So i may have gotten a bad plug. The ceramic had no cracks in it. There was no carbon tracking. I just through the factory plugs back in and never looked back.
i know this is an old post but i had the same thing happen when i put the e3s in my olds aurora. i got a misfire code after about a week. i thought the coil pack had went bad, never thought it could be my brand new plugs............. so i bought a new coil pack which was a 200 dollar mistake. i replaced the bad plug in the front cyl bank and a few days later a plug in the rear cyl bank which was a pain to get to went bad so i replaced all 8 plugs. i thought it was all just my luck but i see others are having the same issues.
OEM plugs for cars, always. Unless previously tried and tested to be TRUE, but someone like a tuner or tech.
Champion for Dodge, Delco for GM (or NGK in our case), Bosch for VW and anything else German, etc. Which is at least how it used to be... as I'm finding more and more vehicles coming with an NGK variant OEM. The only exception I have saw was the Autolite 104 in my old GTP... 2 stages colder and damn did that car purr nicely and idle beautifully with that plug. And that's meant for Ford.
Speaking of plugs... I plan on changing mine this weekend, to see if I can't get rid of just that little bit of pesky knock at WOT, holding steady at 20-21psi. I've noticed it more recently.... doesn't really make a whole lot of sense considering I'm running 94, I'm 3500+ above sea level and it's dry as a bone here.

those plugs are Made in China with all hype. what do you think was going to happen? Stick with the stocks or get NGK's. End of story I'm running the step cold plugs from NGK with my tune and never had one problem.
those E3's are all marketing hype... NGK coppers are pretty much the best plug you can run for the money but supposedly our stock iridium plugs are better... i know one thing... i'll never use platinum plugs
I blew my engine within 7 hrs with those plugs, but the company did buy me a new engine. i recommend factory plugs only. What happend with the plug was it just melted and droped the center core into the engine and busted up my valve train in two cylinders.
