E85 burns cooler than regular gas but quicker. My tuner advised me against running meth and e. I did it anyway just to keep intake temps down and didnt tune to be dependant on meth.

I ran the alky/water injection on my E47 setup just bc......It was already there lol. Not really necessary but hey, can't hurt, chemical intercooling is always good.

You need to have your computer with you and flash the tune each time you switch.

I used a summit racing fuel jug, kept it in the garage until i hit about a half tank then put it in the trunk bc i knew i'd have to fill up in a few days. Then just kept about 3 other regular 5 gal gas cans full of E85 in the garage and filled up the summit jug whenever i emptied it into the car.

A truck and a 55 gallon drum. I wouldn't have switched to e85 unless there were many places to run it around here. If you're looking to transport it, my favorite way to move gas was a 55 gallon drum in the bed of a truck. That's the easiest and most cost effective way to to do it IMO.

But how the hell do you get the filled drum out of your truck? Roll it out down ramps? Do you have a forklift? Lol

Lol a good friend and ramps. You can either tilt it up to get your hands under it and then lift it out. That's kind of awkward to handle from the tailgate. Ramps worked a bit better. Fabbed up a little rolling platform on casters, get it up on there and guide it down.

Yep lol used to do it with huge feed drums (55 gallon) barrels I did not jump down off the truck though just bear hugged and lifted off the tailgate and lowered onto the ground. I unloaded a 1100 lb square alfalfa hay brick (compressed bale) one time but that I just slid that off the truck (harder than you think) then flipped it like a tire about 12 times to get it where I wanted. It was hard as hell to flip over because super dense not tall like maybe 20" tall 20" wide 5 ft long.

Hey Term... is there any way to do a flex fuel type setup? I friend of mine had Formato install a kit on his CTS-V. Wondering if there was a way to adapt a similar setup so there would be no need to worry about % of ethanol.

I do not believe the E69 Bosch controller on the LNF has the capability of running an alcohol sensor or if it does we have no access to the tables to turn it on.

No flex fuel tables even if there was a way to adapt an alcohol sensor into the ecm.
