yeah waste of money with stock turbo, u actually lose power and torque. With a turbo upgrade id get one for uptop hp. but id leave it closed for more torque down bottom. I have the hahn cutout with a s20g turbo swap.

I have one & I gained 10whp up top with it open on the dyno.... And I can definitely feel it pulling harder in the upper revs when I'm racing. I guess it's just me or the dyno, I don't know.

You do lose power & torque down low, but once it hits 3500-4000 rpms you just feel that sucker kick in & it pulls harder.

Just put it on & it's not going to kill you if you don't ever use it.

I LOVE mine. Haha.

I would have to agree. I've had GMS1 and the CIA catted/cutout for about a year and finally uncorked it for 2 passes last week. Ran a 13.39 @ 106 on A/S's-decent for a fwd noob/S1 tune I guess. Didn't have time to run "corked".
To the op be mindfull of ground clearance with the electric valves.

an open cutout will help spool any turbo....the ko4 is just to small to keep dumping that amount of exhaust flow.
