Epic Day At The Dyno!!!! (331WHP/393WTQ Stock Turbo!!)
So today was our local dyno day, 50 bucks for 2 pulls. First i ran my stock tune selected early in the morning..was very cold. 10 degrees cel. I turned traction control off but did not make comp mode on. i did my run at around 110 KPA and dynoed at 321 WHP (no torque because their was people waiting, didnt want to setup the coil pack thing). next run was right after..put infiniboost on..did a run..was dissapointed..ran a little under 321 WHP.
so later in the day they figured out how to attach the coil pack torque converter to my car. So after everyone else ran, i got one more attempt at the dyno.
I had my friend (kennyspec) run a data log. I turned infniboost on..and had at her...best part was when Chris the guy organizing the dyno turned to the crowd and said "he made ALOT more"
Big thanks to Trifecta Performance, as well as Motion Performance for holding the dyno daying and being so generious.
I belive these numbers put me at the highest torque on stock turbo. As well as impressive HP numbers.
(posting pics/vids now...)

horsepower is derived from torque, as torque is a measurable force where as HP is a work formula.
you need the force(torque) and RPM to find HP. with out a coil pack pick-up the dyno does not know the engine RPM accurately, thus you cant find accurate HP.
torque could be found off the load cell, but nothing more, and not at accurate/reputable RPM point.
you can not have power with out torque, its fact. thus i find this dyno and its numbers to be suspect of tom foolery.
how does one run the tune once, and get low numbers, then go back to run it again and make more power?
something does not compute here.

I wouldnt go that far. this is seriously not a safe tune to be running IMHO. they didnt get it on video but their was times where black smoke would pop out of my exhaust not to mention i have poped code p0106 (map out of range) when i get on it in 3rd/4th gear recently. I would recommend sticking with the safier LNF tune.
i'm calling bs...but thats just me..i will bet he will go to the local track and run 13.9 at best...on 10 degrees of timming....again you can make a dyno read pretty much anything you want

It was a dyno day..i wasnt the only car running..i didnt rig the dyno... i dont even know how to rig a dyno.
Go ahead..call BS..i could give 2 ***** really. i have my runs on video, i have the dyno sheets..i have the HP made by all the other cars which were all pretty much bang on.

Yeah, Vince's tune tricks the ECM somehow in order to achieve higher boost than HPtuner guys can get currently.. couldn't give you the down and dirty technical jive on it, but that's more or less what he's doing..
Not true actually. I have my overboost and underboost turned off with HPTuners and all I have to do is buy a manual boost controller and I could run that much boost, but I like my powerband.

so your saying that the dyno is making **** up then.....

i said they hooked it up for my final run..the run were we calculated tq. congradulations.

terminators powerband would own on the auto-x course. but why do you rev it to 7000rpm. its not making anymore power. I do understand that it would be beneficial to hold it out that long for the next gear but i would be afraid of NLS at 7000 rpm. you could have a nice powerband at 6700 rpm and retain the NLS, wouldnt that be more beneficial?? or do you nls at 7000 lol
