I have to replace the Evap solenoid all the time, why is this? Is there something else thats wrong with the car? Mods are in my sig.

How many times has it been replaced? If its more than like 2 or 3 i would suspect a electrical issue like bad ground or (broken, corroded)wiring issue causing high resistance which keeps killing the part.It is also a good possibilty that you just got bad new parts, that happens alot more than people think.Another possibilty is carbon buildup.I changed one a couple weeks back,it failed because a chunk of carbon broke free and clogged the hole.
If you are untuned for that Hahn intake that would explain the rough idle. The car will run very lean sometimes with the Hahn intake on. If you put the stock airbox back on the car and unplug the ECM for a few seconds and plug it back in and the issue goes away you have your answer. If it still idles rough someone should scan the car to check the fuel trims at idle.
its tuned and still does it and we data logged the stock tune and it was only 1% off on my car anyways
EDIT: so I guess its scan the trims at idle

Terminator2 "who tuned you"
it was a local tuner. how long were the intakes on the car before they were tuned cuz mine was on for about 10k before I was tuned and it was for sure only 1% off maybe it was just my car

My car just threw an EVAP code the other day, I believe it is P0451. I cleared it and it hasn't came back, but I have noticed lately that the car doesnt want to start sometimes. Has happened maybe 4 times now, and then when it does start thee rpms bounce all over at idle. They go from 500 to 1800 back down to 700 and so on. I am Trifecta Tuned and I have the Hahn Intake, but have been tuned with the intake for about 14,000 Miles with no issues until now.
yeah. i wish someone would post a how-to about this, because i did have to do this once but the part was only like $40 bucks. labor on the other hand, was $65... it took them about 25 minutes outside of the overloaded shop to do it too.
25 minutes to install a purge solenoid? It can do it in 2 minutes.
Your tuner was BSing you. Your car would not be that different unless it has a boost leak somewhere.
From what I can see, there's a small vacuum line that leads to the canister from the purge solenoid.. It looks like there's a large Vacuum line that leads from the canister to the Solenoid valve (on top of the engine) that controls the Bypass valve.
