I've got the TWM in my SS/TC. A little bit shorter, very much smoother. The stock shifter was pretty short tho. Overall its a great shifter!

TWM

hurst doesnt shorten it up really at all.

B&M= 28% throw reduction

TWM=33% throw reduction. and a 1 inch height reduction. still has reverse lockout. with bushing. this shifter is solid. had it in my 06. transfered it to my 09.

Mark that another one for TWM. Have the weighted knob and bushings as well. The throw isn't really all that much shorter. The height of it is although. The feel is superb compared to the stock shifter. Great customer service from TWM as well. Spend the extra money up front and do it right the first time with your shifter.

B&M Shifter is no longer being made by B&M. However, the Hurst Shifter is still being made and its a great shifter for the price. We will have a very nice sale on the Hurst Shifter next week sometime! Keep your eyes open to save a boat load of money

hahaha i felt your paint. when my camaro was up and running(went from a big lt1 turbo car to a big block huge turbo car haha still in the works) i had that problem all the time. my recommendation is take a ankle sock and put it over the shift knob or on some of the srt-4 forums theres a guy that makes shifties(shift socks) for the knob. im looking into the twm

TWM!!! I think if you measure the throw at the TOP of the knob you'll find it's quite a bit shorter than stock. When it's adjusted right it's a GREAT shifter. I can't comment on any others.

Does anyone have the stock shifter w/ the TWM bushings? I want to know how much more solid it feels with their shifter bushings.
