Excessive noise coming from Purge Valve Solenoid?

So I thought I was hearing valvetrain noise coming from my car AGAIN as it was a "tick tick tick tick", but low and behold the noise has been narrowed down to my Purge Valve Solenoid. This solenoid is brand new, I mean like hardly even driven the car with it. I guess I know the solenoid is working, but I didn't remember it being that noisy. I can hear it over my HPFP and have hovered over the head multiple times to hear nothing but a "shhhhhhhhh" sound of the cams rolling across the rockers, can't even hear the valves really working/ticking at all which is what I like to hear.

Please excuse the dirty engine bay. Shes still a little greasy from recent maintenance and it never stops raining for one week here...
You can hear the distinct tick when I put the mic right next to it. Otherwise, what the camera picks up is just a mix of everything. In person I hear the solenoid over the HPFP.

Can you make a video?? an is it constant or intermittent? My car was makin some crazy tickin noises while I was on the highway one day, pulled over an could still hear it extremely loud.. took it to the dealership a few days later, they didnt hear it, an I didn't hear it again after that... but I was pretty freaked for those couple of days

Yea, sure. Give me a few, gotta grab the phone. And it is a constant repetitive tick.

Sounds like normal cold startup to me, but it's hard to tell from the video. Plus I watched it on my phone
