Yes it is, I hate the lack of feel it has. It is numb as hell and way too light.

I have on in my LSJ. I have never driven a car with an aftermarket clutch but it does take some getting used to.

In THAT aspect, it actually shifts easier.

I can't leave too aggressively yet because I need 500 miles before I can go completely Steddy on it, but from what I feel...retarded good. Take up is very progressive and smooth. Shifting is almost always rewarded with a smooth foot...whereas the stock TC clutch will make a 30 year stick veteran look like he is taking his driving test, rollin on ecstasy, and when it is time, this thing has no nonsense grip. I will be limited to the amount of tire I have

With the lighter flywheel it feels like I have a shorter final drive. Car spins up A **** ton quicker.

Thank you for saying that. All my cars have been sticks and this car is the hardest car to drive smoothly. Glad replacing the clutch with a better one can help with feel and takeup. Stock clutch sucks. I know it will not hold up once I start autocrossing this thing.

Clutches aren't rated in HP...but I believe 06blackg85ss is running a hypersingle on his set up.

Not many people make more power than him

well I know their not rated in HP, i was more referring to how much HP can it handle before it starts slipping? My goal is to hit 400+ and I want a clutch that's going to be able to hold it

Torque is what makes clutches slip.

Not HP.

Exedy says 'generally twice as much as stock' on their website

If what is said is true about the Hypersingle...that is a decent chunk of power.

Not sure which one to go by lol, alot of the sites i checked stated around 350 range for tq

One site states

"Part Number : Exedy GH02SD
Application : Saturn Ion RED LINE 2004-2006 2
Notes :

Torque Capacity :330 Ft/Lbs

Exedy Stage 3 Hyper Single Clutch Kit
Recommended for Street, Race, Circuit, Drift and Rally
All Exedy Hyper Single Clutches comes with lightweight flywheels and 6 puck cerametallic facing, Spring Centered Damper Assembly. Thje disc is generally smaller and thinner than the OEM discs, made for lower inertia and therefore quicker shifting and less wear and tear on transmission synchroes. The higher clamp load and cerametallic frinction facings give approximately twice the holding torque of the OEM clutch and generally higher than other single plate clutches.
As with all cerametallic clutches, the street drivablity may be marginal due to chattering and harsh engagement characterstics. Approx HP capacity is upto 550 HP.
"

2nd site states
