i need help with my exhaust bad. when i start my car theres a rattles. and when i hit a bump or something its something. this irritates me so bad. then i want my muffler to point sideways like on stis. can anybody refer a place

 

have you taken a look underneath? could just be a loose heatshield or somthing

Are you lowered. If so that may be why. Even if your not it may be hitting where the pipe goes over the rear suspension. 2 of my friends cars do that. The one that is lowered rattles a lot the other isn't lowered but his still rattles a lil. Both are ss/tc with 3" piping. Mine doesn't do it tho. Just a thought.

did you custom made your exhaust? cuz i did with my 3' exhaust and im not lowered but it still raddels a little bit with the back spring.... it sucks but i have to deal with it i guess...

 

are you sure its not hitting the torsion beam?

 

I have the Hahn 3 inch catback and i'm also lowered on sportlines, but I don't get the rattle while I'm driving that I can hear anyways or when the car is first started. But, after the car warms up and I shut it off I get a faint rattle, then if I turn the car back on when it's warm I hear the rattle also...I'm guessing it is probably rattling off the heat shield as I had to bend mine a little bit before the axle. It's probably just something you may have to get used to...even though it can get annoying b/c it makes you "think" that there may be something wrong.

 

well i have a custom exhaust and mine doesnt rattle. My friend has the hahn cat back on his car, which isnt lowered. his exhaust never rattled b4 he cut off the muffler. now it does.. faintly tho.
