True but I'm going for "Factory looks" It would pass a Tech. Inspection in some states where they just look over the exhaust for holes and to see if you even have a muffler. Like I said Just courous and Boored. After a bit it's comming off for a 3" catted full system.

DONT DO IT! You can see straight through the stock muffler... hell, there is hardly a bend in the pipe. With the size of the stock muffler, if you make it empty, its just going to echo inside there and sound like ish. If you want... I could snag a pic straight through my muffler to show you what I am talking about. I mean, if you WANT... you could cut it open, and weld a pipe straight through there, it would basically be a muffler delete that doesn't look like a muffler.

Someone on here did what you did. It was a while back. He cut a small square hole in it, and took out all the sound baffling material (which ended up looking like hair/fur). There is a pic of that somewhere on here.

**** you could do it for $25 or less just buy the tip pipe and a clamp. It would probably take you 10 minutes to do...

I bet it's just a straight through design with a perforated pipe on the inside. Then sound deadening material sitting around that.

Kinda like this one.... http://media.photobucket.com/image/m...er_Cutaway.jpg

That'd be my guess.

I agree.... So it's like having 2 resonators on the exhaust and two cats.

haha magnaflow ftmfw! I got a magnaflow and it sounds ALMOST stock, quiet but a lot more deep and throaty. The burble is very nice too and the best part is that at Highway speeds it's virtually silent.
