well currently im at a different power level but my last dyno was 407hp/391trq. That was 25psi on 91 octane and really conservative timing (stupid 91!)

Nice numbers none the less.

What turbo are you running again, and what's different about the setup now (boost, fueling, hardware, ect ect)?

He was tuned on ethanol and a littler more boost and ramped in a little more. Not to aggressive on timing though.

yea i have the JB 5557. Now i am running e30 but i just got done rebuilding my engine. I also have a ported head and intake mani. But i think im going to drop some boost a little and do e47. Purely to save my tranny till i get some money saved up to build it lol

so i guess power level i may not be all that different but just different specs and mods

It all depends on dyno, heat, elevation and etc.

Nice numbers man! 30 whp from just an aggressive adjustment is pretty sick LOL, lets see the graph! I wonder if I'm anywhere near that to be honest. I want to be a little above 400whp for daily . I'm really considering switching to e85/47 or something.

BTW, I don't think I've seen above 25.5 PSI ether on my boost gauge with the EFR. Is this a coincidence?

Yeah, the boost gauge won't read past that. Mine stops at 25.5PSI and I'm running the 3 bars as well. I have to just go by the mechanical boost gauge.

I missed this post apparently. The graph is in the original post and yes I think the 25.5psi thing is purely a coincidence.. lol

I would love to see what this turbo can do on e47 with a 5th injector setup as well. He and I have been talking about setting up some more dyno time to really push the turbo just to see what can be done with it, but ONLY on the dyno.... nothing for the street. I'm shooting for a solid 450whp but we'll see what happens.

Congrats on the #s man!!!! This is good **** and 09cobaltss1 props to you for tuning and having learned to tuned. Good **** guys.

As for the sensors, according to some logs that Term2 has done he has been able to determine that Stock sensors can read up to 2.7Bar, while upgraded sensors a little more than 3. I think it was a great idea going with a mechanical boost gauge than relying on the RPD, never know what its software limits are. On the Sky's our boost gauge is in the gauge cluster in the DIC. Mine always reads 24psi even though on the dyno with boost anaylizer I have seen 26psi. Currently I'm doing logs on a 27psi tune and I only see 23psi on the DIC.

Hey thanks for the good words man. Truth be told, I've been tuning for a little while now. I just don't put myself out there maybe as well as I probably should. I'm always learning though!

I would like to see 450whp as well! I'm hoping to hit that with e47, would I need a 5th injector for that?

PS I want to see the whole graph with the curve lol, not just the numbers. Post it up ixxghostxxi

I put re-11's on I can actually get a little traction in 2nd now! Haven't tested it out on kill yet though, and its been 90* every day too. Can't wait for fall and cooler temps.

Sorry for the off topic. Been awake going on. 48 hrs now.
