You more than likely are not going to be able to run full e85, probably a e47 or e60 blend

you can run straight e30 if you have it around you. e47 and e67 is basically e85 mixed with different amounts of 93 if im right dont quote me on this

Yeah this car doesnt like full E-85, the most power is made on E-47. E-47 is a 1:1 mix of 93 octane E-10 and E-85.

why are you asking this kind of questions. laser racer could have answered this for you since you will have to go back for a retune with him.

Well obviously it has to be close. Just do 4 gallons 93 and 4 gallons of e85. Simplest way to do it

It wouldnt have to be exact, but pretty close to a 1:1 mix. When filling, just drive around a little so it can mix before you get on it.

What happens on full e85 is it pops a low rail pressure code in fourth gear and puts the car into engine power reduced

E60. Run the car so its in between 1/8-1/4 then put 3gal 93 and 6gal E85. That will put you right at 7/8-full. You will go through the fuel faster though which will offset the couple dollars you save per fill up. So in short you will be paying about the same on a monthly basis for fuel, just having more fun

i would like to know the same. but i dont wanna take a chance on getting a clogged line and something messes up. so thats why i chose e, but e isnt everywhere thats the downfall

a off the topc question would it be better to run a straight pipe from the turbo back or add a muffler at the end. i had a muffler on but took it off now i kinda wanna put it back on lol

Ive never had any issues with full e85. no codes poped or anything, and ive beat on it pretty good. Ive heard that it will damage your fuel pump in the long run though. ill probably switch back to HPT from trifecta and go 1:1 e85/91

Id be interested in jumping on board and trying an ethanol blend, but unfortunately theres only like 2 stations in MA that sell it. Also, I read in some thread on here recently that youll suffer a pretty significant hit in MPG on a high ethanol blend. Is this true? If so, do the benefits of the switch out weigh the loss in economy...? I forget where the thread was, but the person said they went from like 26mpg to 19-20....? Seems like a pretty BIG drop...?

E85 has a couple things against it. Ethanol is an oxidizer, it attracts water, and it doesnt have the same lubrication properties that regular gas has. Go to your local auto parts store and pick up a bottle of E85 fuel treatment. Its made by Redline or Lucas Oils. It will counteract those possible problems. 2oz per fill up

I havent had a chance to find highway mileage but in the city I was averaging ~21mpg now I get ~18mpg. The only time it really sucks fuel is wot. I did a pull from 40-130 and I used about 0.3 gallons(via HPT) in what took about 13 seconds
