first nls ever

Well the ss just rolled over 900 miles and have been itching to try nls and launch control. I was going in second and floored it and then shifted to third and like your suppose to holding gas all the way to floor and i heard a pop from exhaust and a sound of air under the hood i've never heard, when i looked at boost gauge it was a max psi so i'm guessing i completed the nls correctly?

You just deflowered your car...Now start modding. Its a vicious cycle.

Probably so. During NLS, you're at WOT (duh), and it's can cause fuel to be expelled into the exhaust without being fully burnt...hence the backfire.

When you luanch control whats correct way to laucnh slip cltuch or let it fly? Havent done it yet havent really read any info about it

Slip the clutch slowly...if you dump it the car will bog down.

Launch control sucks; rpms are too high. Most people slip it around 3000-3500, but try it and find out what works best for you.
