Football size?

So I did some runs at PIR last night. All of them were a constant 14.4 and change. I normaly can pull off a 14.1 atleast once every night, but not last night

My only real performance mod is my Hahn CoolRam Intake. I've tried dropping my tire pressure to 22psi once and felt nothing significant. I'm running on Westlakes (street tires). I have Limited Slip. I take just about everything out of my trunk when i run.
For my launch I've been sticking to launch control at about 3,000 (sometimes 2,500 others 3,500. 3,500 creates wheel hop) and if I'm feeling ballsy I NLS from 1-2 2-3 and 3-4...other wise its just 2-3 and 3-4.

I'm wondering if ya'll suggest I try that football mod, and if so what size are the footballs?

Mine aren't leather they are just some synthetic material

I have driven around all over with mine but its quite stiff

You are better off to air them down and then refill them at the track

I havent tried putting mine back in since i put the Pedders on the car

It would be safe, normal driving. Just don't always keep them aired, it messed a pair of mine up.

I was running a bit late to the track and had people waiting on me...so I kinda half-assed it. The footballs weren't majorly pumped up and the tips weren't perfectly on the top and bottom by the lil nub things. Driving to the track and home...totally felt more stiff.
Normally when it's 75 degrees and the track has ok prep but not superb, I stick around the 14.4s...last night i ran mostly 14.2s. The things I noticed different were when I went to do a burn, i got hop, never got that before. On my actual launch though...I didn't. All I got was the serious lack of power when got going but that's cause I'm still working on my launch and my 1-2
Will i take the time to put the footballs in place and run them again...yes
Would I recommend the football mod to draggers...yes, I mean c'mon, it is a dirt cheap mod and doesn't take a lot of work to install.
FYI: I was using leather pee wees that i got at Walmart for $9/each.

As far as shave off, I was able to run a 2.0 60' time consistantly on the stock street tires. Yes I did pull a 2.0 without using them, but not time after time like with them.

Pretty sure they helped me although I only managed a 2.24 60'. Rather than trying to immediately perfect "feathering" clutch/tires I brought the idle up slightly as the tree came down then put it to the floor; 1-2 @ approx 5500(higher and it occaisionally balks), 2-3/3-4 nls @ 6200. Second run launched @ 2500 or so and spun to a 13.7. Tires @ 26 psi.
