cf hood and trunk, backseat removal, lighter rims, recaro seats

thats pretty much the only thing people can really do with a cobalt for weight reduction

forget weight reduction tho and get a tune. the number one performance mod for the ss turbo (if u do have the turbo)

I think you are limited to about 100 lbs. reduction without starting to "gut" the car. I am pretty confident that you could take out close to 500 lbs. though if you were seriously willing to gut the car and swap for some fiberglass components. These cars at 2300 lbs. would be quite fun!

Here's a video I made of a local guy who races his EvoX (2008 NASA TT-A National Champion!)

This is how you make a car light weight....To be honest I wouldn't even mind that as a daily driver. His car is pure sex.

AMS+EVO+X+2008+NASA+TT-A+National+Champion!

CF parts baby

I strip my interior every Friday. Takes me 5 minutes to take out the front and rear seats, and maybe 5 more minutes to take the trunk contents out. Seems worth it for a couple tenths.

It really depends on how much weight is saved. If it could drop more then 400 lbs. I would definetly do it. Our cars with under 2500lbs would be a blast.
