How much knock? It's surprisingly difficult to knock on E47. Are u sure it's not false KR and do you know the exact E content of your fuel yet?

if you are knocking on a e47 tune i would put money on there is something mechanically wrong with your car, go over it before you bother retuning

The most I've seen is 3.0 kr but yup it was on e47 even on e60 we got kr so we figured it had to be some mechanical. 2 of my plugs where loose, one was even leaking into the coil, I'm going to re-tighten them today to make sure everything its fine then give it another try,

Also idk if it's me but also I'm not liking the way my turbo sounds kinda sounds like screeching to me but it might be the intake that makes it sounds like that, I've check the turbo out and it's not catching on anything or scrapping.

Have you been measuring the ethanol content on your fuel?
I tried E and I had the same issue, I had knock everywhere. Ther are only 3 stations in my area and ethanol content was different on all of them.
I remember testing one and it was stupid low

Nothing wrong with the turbo I just needed to have the car done by the end of next week so I can have painted and tuned. Then make it legal and drive to my first track day this year. Turbo won't be ready though so I bought an efr so I can make it.

Measure it. I went to a station and it was 60 percent ethanol so a 50/50 mix is not e47.
Take a bit out of your tank and see what the ethanol content is.

You can do it with a baby bottle of you don't have a measuring kit.

I have some e85 at the house I got 5 gals extra since I have to drive like 30 mins to get it with traffic. And last time I went to get e60 that's when I got hit so the least the amount of times I have to go the better

May as well measure fuel at the station before you fill up so you can accurately calculate how much of each fuel you need to reach your desired E content. The ecm will compensate quite a bit and youwill probably be fine(as far as KR) with E content that is 10-15% lower than what it is tuned for but obviously you want to have it as close as possible for best and most consistent power.

I am ocd when it comes to testing content. I mix in gas cans and do the 50/50 at the gas station, but at 2 different gas stations sadly.

Even with a modified fuel lobe, you will probably still have to ramp the boost quite a bit which is why I still mix fuels but I build my own trannies so.... Your wtq will suffer but whp will be OK. Fwiw I've won sooooo many races because of tq

It doesn't matter he was tuned for what was in his tank E30 is more than enough to run full timing on our car with the R. He has a mechanical problem I hope it was the plugs were loose

Just one technically. 445 still running strong so I'm not in a hurry yet. Brace was revised yet again. Same concept but different fitting requirements.
Still waiting on turbobay to ship my R too. Gonna be an easy turbo swap with subframe and trans out of the way.

They can be slow on building them sometimes.
